BrushUpOn
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
By using BrushUpOn, you agree to use the service responsibly and in accordance with these terms.
Account and security
You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password private. Do not use another person’s account or share access to yours. The Teacher role is available only with a valid invite code.
Acceptable use
Use the service for learning, creating and reviewing cards, organizing groups, and working with your own materials. Do not try to bypass protections, disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful or harmful activity.
Learning materials
You are responsible for the materials you create, import, or upload. Only upload material for which you have the necessary rights, and do not publish personal or confidential data without a proper basis.
Deck ownership
The author of a deck remains its owner. By creating or uploading a deck you allow BrushUpOn to store it and show it to members of your groups and, if you make the deck public yourself, to other users of the service. This permission lasts while the deck is published and ends when you hide or delete it. Paid courses, if they appear, may contain only the author’s own original material, not a retelling of a textbook.
Learning outcomes
Spaced-repetition algorithms and AI tools help organize learning, but do not guarantee a particular outcome, the accuracy of every generated card, or success on an exam. Review important learning content before relying on it.
Service availability
We aim to keep BrushUpOn available and reliable, but individual features may be temporarily unavailable because of updates, maintenance, or circumstances outside our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continuing to use BrushUpOn after a new version is published means you have had the opportunity to review the updated terms.
