BrushUpOn

How to import flashcards from Anki

Teachers can add Anki cards to a BrushUpOn deck. Open the deck editor, go to its cards, and choose the Anki import option.

Choose an import method

For simple text cards, export Anki notes as text, open the file, and paste its contents into the import window. Choose the same field separator you used for the export.

Use a package for cards with media

.apkg and .colpkg files can transfer cards based on note templates, images, and audio, including Cloze and Image Occlusion. Template JavaScript does not run, and custom styling may look different from Anki.

Decide whether to include progress

To transfer your own study progress, export a package with scheduling information and enable progress import in BrushUpOn. Data is transferred for your account when it is present in the file. Without this option, the cards start as new.
