How spaced repetition works
Spaced repetition helps you plan when to return to material you have learned. BrushUpOn uses question-and-answer flashcards and a schedule for future reviews.
Try to recall the answer
Open an available deck and start studying. Read the question and try to answer it yourself first. Then reveal the answer and compare it with yours.
Assess how easily you remembered
Rate your recall, rather than how familiar the revealed answer looks. Your answers affect the schedule: difficult material needs more frequent review.
Come back for reviews
Continue studying in your account to keep your progress. The schedule helps you choose the next cards, but it does not replace regular practice or understanding the material.
